Fabulous easy check in, I hope the park continue to do arrivals this way. Much easier and quicker than the usual huge reception queue. Our caravan was absolutely stunning, far exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely spotless. It was also a nice bonus to get a play in the just opened arcade on Monday morning before we left. Definitely one of the best trips we have had. No complaints from us. Would love to have another stay in Balmoral ❤ We are back in just under 3 weeks and cannot wait.
We had booked the English half term and after reading some of the reviews we were a little apprehensive.
We had booked a Deluxe 3 bedroom caravan and when we arrived we had been upgraded to a Prestige.
It was ideal and spotless, fully equipped even had a dishwasher.
We were in Gleneagles Close which was lovely and quiet.
The site supermarket was well stocked and prices on average.
The site was well cared for and despite the torrential rain spotless. The children’s activities, play centre, swimming, nature walks were all great and free.
The children’s aerial experience was well worth the price. Both of my grandkids loved it.
The staff all over the site were friendly and a credit to the park.
I will definitely be back and pray for better weather.
Our stay has been amazing. The swimming pool alone is worth the stay. The staff can't do enough for you, they're so happy and polite. I must say though the staff at the sports place where amazing. An exceptionally patient jade I think her name was, who helped my eldest with autism, with archery and a young lad who (I forget his) name who helped him on the climbing wall. Both were so calm and really pushed him to try, both brilliant teachers.
The park itself is kept really clean, every morning I have seen staff out litter picking. The caravan was clean on arrival. All the equipment is working and grounds kept beat and trimmed.
Only down side is the one pillow each, so bring spares.
The beach is nice a clean to, easy access. Loads of places to grab coffee and chill out while the kids run themselves tired. We've had a great holiday.
This year has been a record year for holidays in the UK next year is expected to be even better.
